Mission Statement
The NoMI Flag Football League was created to bring a fresh, exciting football experience to Northern Michigan. Our league is designed for players ages 4–17 who want to learn the game, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive, community-driven environment.
We believe in developing young athletes the right way—through skill-building, teamwork, and positive coaching that puts player growth first. Whether someone is brand new to the sport or already passionate about football, our goal is to provide a safe place to compete, improve, and make lasting memories.

We want to create the premier youth flag football experience in Northern Michigan—one that combines high-quality organization, engaging gameplay, and a welcoming community for every family involved. We aim to expand access to the sport, introduce players to the fundamentals of football in a safe and enjoyable way, and build a league that local athletes are proud to be part of year after year.

Who We Serve
The NoMI Flag Football league proudly serves boys and girls ages 4 –17 across the Northern Michigan region. Whether a player is stepping onto the field for the first time or already passionate about the game, our league offers a supportive, fun, and competitive environment for every skill level.​

League Director
Brad Hall founded the NoMI Flag Football League because he saw a huge opportunity to bring something special to Northern Michigan—an affordable, high-energy, community-driven football experience for players of all skill levels. His goal was to create an environment where young athletes of all ages and skill levels could learn the game, grow their confidence, and be part of something exciting and positive within the community.
Brad is committed to building a program that puts players first. His passion for youth athletics, community engagement, and creating opportunities for local families is the driving force behind NoMI Flag Football. The league reflects his belief that sports should be accessible, welcoming, and memorable—and that Northern Michigan deserves a program that kids look forward to season after season.
